The GA911 brings historic material and specialized 1911 craftsmanship together in a finished, functioning pistol.
GA911 pistols are built and tested by arguably the most experienced 1911 makers in the world with specialized knowledge of working with rare and technically demanding materials. Each completed pistol represents the culmination of metallurgical analysis, Damascus development, precision manufacturing and extensive testing. All GA911s stay true to the ingenius design of John Moses Browning's original masterpiece. Chambered in .45ACP, with a 5" recessed and crowned, match-grade barrel.
Every GA911 bears an individual visual record of its forging.
The GA911's complete frame and slide are forged from layered Damascus steel, making the pattern integral to the pistol’s construction—not a cosmetic addition. The specialized layering and forging process creates a distinct pattern across every completed GA911. Because the movement of the steel can never be precisely repeated, each pistol possesses a visual identity as individual as a fingerprint.
The rear slide serrations are not conventional checkering. Their vertical geometry was designed to echo the silhouette of the Twin Towers, integrating the memorial theme directly into the functional architecture of the pistol.
The frontstrap and mainspring housing feature a laser-engraved pattern inspired by the distinctive window geometry of the original World Trade Center lobby. It is a subtle architectural reference carried into the surfaces most closely associated with the pistol’s grip and handling.
The history of each GA911 extends from the original World Trade Center steel through its transformation, manufacture and documented transfer.
The GA911 is not an open-ended production model. The complete edition is permanently limited to 100 pistols, each distinguished by its serial number and individual Damascus pattern. GA911 pistols will not be released as a single production run. They will be completed and introduced in small tranches over time, with each release forming a distinct chapter within the permanently limited 100-pistol edition. The current chapter is the September 2026 GA911 25th Anniversary Edition .
Together, they form a finite archive of American material history, craftsmanship and remembrance.
